Marc Lund
Marc Lund,
CEO and President
Marc's efforts are concentrated on Finance and Organizational management for STAT EMS. Marc entered public safety in 1996 joining Fenton Township Fire Department and pursued EMS through EMT and Paramedic school and attended UM Flint. Marc has served as past GCMCA Board and PSRO member.

Marc is also a West Flint Optimist International member and was appointed to the Board of Directors for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Flint in October of 2010.

Marc is married, has one child, and is a life long resident of Genesee County residing in Fenton with his family.

Joseph R. Karlichek, EMT-P, EMSIC
Joseph R. Karlichek,
EMT-P, EMSIC, COO and Vice President
Joe provides executive oversight of the Operations and it's Education Department. Joe began his career in Public Safety in 1991 and serves on the Genesee County Medical Control Authority (GCMCA) as Board member, Protocol member, Education Member, and Professional Standard Review Organization member.

He is also a Region 2 Board member for the Society of Michigan EMS Instructor Coordinator (SMESIC) and Genesee County Land Bank Citizen advisory board. Joe also serves on the Advisory Board for EMS Education.

Joe is married, has three children, and is a lifelong resident of Genesee County residing in Flushing City.

Kieth Rumbold
Kieth Rumbold,
EMT-P, Director of Operations
Kieth has been in public safety since 1991. He began his career as the Operations Manager at STAT in 2010 and was promoted to Director of Operations in August 2011. He is responsible for oversight of field operations, Medical Examiner Scene Investigations,and the Field Training Officer Division. Kieth is responsible to enforce and carry out the operational and CBA policies of the company and enforce all MIOSHA regulations. He is also a firefighter for Gaines Township.

Kieth is married with four children and resides in Gaines Township with his family.

Matthew Rozen
Matthew Rozen,
Director of Operational Fleet and Logistics
Mr. Rozen began his career at STAT EMS in 2009 as the Manager of SEM.  Matt was promoted to Fleet and Logistics Manager in early 2010,. then promoted to Director of Operational Fleet and Logistics in August 2011.  Matt is responsible for the oversight of STAT’s Fleet maintenance of ambulances, wheelchair vans, MDRU, supervisor/support vehicles, and STAT property.

In addition, Matt also oversees all ambulance station supply and maintenance, medical soft supplies, and Durable Medical Equipment vendor relationships.

Matt is married, a life long resident of Genesee County, and resides in Linden.

Meredith Lund
Meredith Lund,
Billing and Accounts Receivable Manager/Compliance Privacy Officer
Meredith began her career at STAT in 2001. Her responsibility is oversight of STAT’s claims, insurance authorization processes, account balancing, and all billing department staff.

Meredith resides in Flint with her family.

Hillary Trinckel
Hillary Trinckel,
Assistant Manager of Billing and Accounts Receivable
Hillary has been with STAT since 2002. She is responsible for posting of claims and claim rejections with all insurance carriers and serves as Assistant Manager to the Billing office.

Hillary resides in Flint with her family.

Holly Kopaniasz
Holly Kopaniasz,
BA, Human Resource Manager
Holly is STAT’s Human Resource Manager and is responsible for all hiring processes. She also provides resources for legal aid to staff and coordinates employee support functions. Holly received her BA at Western Michigan University in 2005.

Holly is pursuing a second degree in Information Technology and is expecting to graduate in 2013.

Juiwana Pickett
Juiwana Pickett,
MPA, BBA, Director of Patient Service and EMD Department
Juiwana is responsible for the oversight of STAT’s dispatch department and its personnel.

Continuous Quality Improvement is coordinated between Juiwana, her assistant Manager, and her Training Supervisor to ensure STAT meets their pre-arrival call taking efficiencies and customer service expectations for multiple health care facilities and the Genesee County Community.

Juiwana resides in Grand Blanc with her family.

Gary L. Denman
Gary L. Denman,
EMT-P, EMSIC, EMS Education Course Coordinator
Gary began his career at STAT since its inception in 2001. He is the EMS Education Coordinator and Instructor for CPR/AED, EMT-Basic, and Paramedic programs and ACLS Instructor at Hurley Medical Center.

Gary is married and resides in Flint Township with his three children.

Doug Chilson
Doug Chilson,
Community Coordinator
Doug first began his career in Public Safety in 1970 working as first aid responder. Doug retired from GM in1999 and began his career at STAT in 2001. His responsibilities are coordinating patient care with extended care and rehab facilities, community organizations, schools, fire and police, and governmental interaction.

Doug is also on the Vienna Township Planning Commission, Clio Veterans Park Board, and a member of the American Legion. Doug also retired from the Clio FD in 2008 after serving for 13 years.

Doug is married with has three children and 6 grandchildren and is a lifelong resident of Genesee County residing in Vienna Township.
